Our founders were :-
BILL LEECH was educated at Rugby School, Grenoble University in France and Aston University in Birmingham. He has over 30 years experience
at senior management level in high technology companies. In 1973, he became the youngest Director & General Manager of a Lucas subsidiary and launched their
unbranded automotive spare parts programme.
In 1978, he joined Smiths Industries plc as Managing Director of the Car Radio Division, which manufactured ‘Radiomobile’ in car
entertainment products. In 1982, he founded Mobile Radio Ltd and developed it over 18 years, into a leading mobile communications innovator, developing some
of the first mobile data and vehicle tracking systems for the emergency services and many international logistics groups.
RICHARD ANDERSON has an engineering degree from Loughborough, an MBA from Harvard and a finance qualification. He has over 20 years
experience at senior management level in SME and multi-national companies in both consumer and industrial markets.
He started his career with 3i investing in SMEs in the Midlands. Following 2 years in the USA, at Harvard, he worked in increasingly senior
roles in the fmcg sector, latterly with Mars Inc. In 1994, as Marketing Director of Partco, he contributed to its successful flotation. In 1997, he became CEO
of Independent Parts Group, a small cap PLC. Following the sale of IPG, from 1998 to 2002, he formed and led an MBI in the industrial distribution sector.
