There are many reasons for an owner deciding to sell his or her business and at ANDERSON COOPER we have had experience of most of these. Sometimes, because of ill-health, sadly the decision is forced upon the owner. In such cases, speed is of the essence and ANDERSON COOPER will do everything possible to try to minimize the time involved to achieve a sale. We may also be able to suggest ways to reduce the stress on the owner during the sales process by, for instance, engaging interim management.

Happily, for most owners, the decision is theirs to make but, still, it can be one of the most difficult that they will ever face. We understand this and ANDERSON COOPER will never give biased advice to encourage owners into a quick decision. Not only would this be against our code of ethics but also we take the view that if we provide good, objective advice to an owner he will come back to us when it is time to sell. Also, we can assist owners in developing and implementing an exit plan to enhance the value of the business in the intervening months and years before a sale.
